Rippin Hot

Flight was 20 minutes late getting away from Calgary. The plane had to be de-iced.

Arrived at Heathrow on time (14:05), but we were delayed docking for ½ hour due to technical difficulties - the lead-in lights. The pilot was a little upset because in Canada they simply lead the aircraft manually using hand signals.

Holy cow! Talk about a big and busy airport. The place is huge, but is a little run down and dated.

I was planning on catching the Paddington train to downtown London but with the delay, parking, and the long Customs lineup, I decided to pass.

Just had a toasted ham and cheese thing,“rippin hot”, ended up burning my mouth with the molten cheese inside the bun.

Finally, the gate # is posted so off I go. Damn, must have walked a mile or two to reach the gate.

Most go, will be boarding soon.
